Dodge Dart

The name used for Chrysler's 2013 compact model car unveiled at the 2012 North American International Auto show in Detroit. The Dodge Dart was a hit in the 1960s as it was known for its fancy tail fins, compact design and low price. The car was last produced in 1976.

The new Dodge Dart is built based on technologies from Fiat SpA, a strategic investor of the Chrysler Group LLC. The car uses Fiat's compact wide platform developed in Italy that forms the basis of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. The architecture for the Dart was lengthened by 12 inches and widened by about 2 inches for buyers in North America.
