A tennis court is 78 Feet or 23.77 metres long. For a Doubles match the court is and 36 feet or 10.97 metres wide, for a Singles match the court is 27 feet or 8.23 metres wide. The Left and Right Service Courts are measured from the Singles Sideline to the centre Service Line and this measurement is 13 feet 6 inches or 4.11 metres wide and they are also measured from the Net to the Service Line and this measurement is 21 feet or 6.40 metres long (this area is also called the forecourt). From the Service line to the Baseline is the Backcourt and it measures 18 feet or 5.49 metres long.
